9.9. Removal and installation of assembly of the vacuum amplifier of brakes

Remove GTTs (see Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder (MBC)).
In interior of the car remove a fixing pin and disconnect a rod of a pusher of the amplifier from the lever of a pedal of a foot brake.
Disconnect a vacuum hose from assembly of the brake amplifier.
Give fixing nuts and remove assembly of the vacuum amplifier from a back partition of a motive compartment.
Installation is made upside-down — before the GTTs installation make adjustment of a pusher (see below).

Adjustment of a rod of a pusher

Connect the manual vacuum pump to the reception union of assembly of the vacuum amplifier and create depression of 508 mm of mercury in depth in assembly. Measure pusher rod vystupaniye size from an assembly casing. The nominal rate makes 10.1 — 10.4 mm. If it is not possible to adjust a rod, replace assembly of the brake amplifier.
